Born April 14, 1949 in Massachusetts, graduated from Bates College, Yale University School of Dramatic Art. Filmed in films and TV series. In 1984 he was named Best Actor for his role in the film "Windy City" (eng. Windy City). In 1988 he won an Emmy Award for Baby M. In Russia, he is best known for his roles in the television series Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and Mutant X. In addition, he appeared in such TV series as "Sex and the City", "Law and Order", "Tales from the Crypt", played in the films "Darling, I Enlarged the Child" (1992) and "Immortality Corporation" (1992 ).
