Dan Bukatinsky is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, writer and columnist. Bukatinsky gained fame as an author, producer and performer of the main role in the 2001 film Guy Anywhere (English), after which, together with Lisa Kudrow, he created the studio Is or Isn't Entertainment, which released the sitcom Return in 2005 ...
Bukatinsky created the sitcom "Internet Therapy" with Kudrow and was also a producer of the reality show Who Do You Think You Are ?, both projects in 2012 were awarded Emmy nominations. He also co-executive produced Jungle Lipstick from 2008–2009.
As an actor, Bukatinsky is best known for his recurring role as James Novak in Shonda Rhimes' TV series Scandal. In 2013, he won an Emmy in Best Guest Actor in a Television Drama Series for this role.
Bukatinsky is openly gay. He has two children along with director Don Roos.
