A talented British theater and film actor, producer and director Laurence Olivier is from Dorking, Surrey (UK). Here he began his life in 1907 on May 22. Lawrence's father was a priest and raised his son in the spirit of religion, but it was he who, appreciating the boy's ability to art, advised him to become an artist. Olivier received his acting education at the School of Diction and Dramatic Arts, after graduating from which he became an actor of the Birmingham Theater Company. For this film, Olivier was awarded the third Oscar. In addition, L. Olivier directed the wonderful films The Prince and the Dancer (1957), Three Sisters (1970), and Hindle Wakes (1976).

In 1988, the last film with Laurence Olivier, War Requiem, was released, in which the famous actor played the role of an old soldier.
