American producer.
Carmody was born in New England and moved with his parents to Canada as a child. He graduated from film school in Montreal and is now involved in producing around the world. He currently lives in Toronto and L.A.
Don Carmody has been producing films for almost 30 years. He was Vice President of Production at Canada's Cinepix. Starting his own production company in 1980, Carmody produced the hits "Porky's" and "Porky's II", the acclaimed film A Christmas Story, as well as "Spacehunter: Adventures In The Forbidden Zone", "Whispers", "The Big Town "," Physical Evidence "," Switching Channels ".
The list of his works currently contains about 75 films.
