Born March 15, 1877 in Portsmouth. He worked as a cartoonist and military (Boer War) correspondent for a London newspaper. In 1913, he first visited the United States as part of a theater troupe, and then spent most of his life there, acting in American films - he was especially good at playing all kinds of villains. First appeared on the screens in 1914, playing the role of Prince Florizel in the film "Suicide Club" .
Montague Love was married twice: to Gertrude Love from 1908 to 1928 (divorce) and to Marjorie Hollis (from 1929 until his death in 1943).
Montague Love died on May 17, 1943 in Beverly Hills from myocardial infarction, his ashes were cremated in the Chapel of the Pines crematorium.
