Born December 22, 1965 - American screenwriter, film director, film producer, and comic book writer.
A graduate of Huron High School and the University of Southern California, he also graduated from the School of Film and Television in 1988.
He was a student of screenwriter Nelson Gidding at the University of Southern California, after which he often came as a guest to his lectures. In 1988 he wrote and in 1989 sold his first screenplay for Death Warrant (1990).
Goyer has written several scripts for various comic worlds such as Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Flash, and Blade.
Together with James Robinson, he participated in the 1999 relaunch of the Justice Society of America comic universe.
In the fall of 2009, ABC debuted the TV series Remember What Will Be, on which he worked together with Brannon Braga. The series is based on a novel by Robert Sawyer called Flashforward.
