Born December 30, 1989 in San Clement, California is an American actor, professional skateboarder, and entrepreneur.
Sheckler began skateboarding at the age of 18 months, and at 4 years old he could perform his first ollie tricks. At the age of 7, he had his own mini-ramp in the yard of his house, so that the boy could hone his skills as a skateboarder every day. From 1999 to 2002, Sheckler won a number of podiums at the Warped Tour Festival. In 2003, he became the youngest participant-winner of the World Extreme Games, and in 2008 and 2010 at these competitions he was again able to win first place. Today he is the winner of a number of competitions, from the California Amateur Skate League to the Skateboarding World Cup. Widespread fame allowed Sheckler to sign contracts with a number of sponsors such as Volcom, Red Bull, Etnies, Plan B, Oakley, GoPro and others. Gruvemuveend
In 2007, MTV aired the reality show Ryan's Life, covering the daily life of a skateboarder. It was also attended by relatives and friends of Ryan. The eight-episode first season was quite popular, followed in 2008 by the show's second season, consisting of 15 episodes. He also starred in a number of feature films, the most famous of which is the 2010 comedy "The Tooth Fairy."
Sheckler appears as a playable character in a number of PC games such as Tony Hawk's Underground 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Tony Hawk's Project 8, and Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.
In 2008, the Scheckler Foundation was created, a charitable organization that provides assistance to athletes recovering from injuries and also provides assistance to children from disadvantaged families.
