The actor graduated from the Catholic school "Santa Margarita" in 2002. During his studies he took part in many school theatrical performances. Graduated from the theater department of the University of Northern California in 2006. In his spare time, Ryan writes music, plays guitar and piano, and sings in a band.
In 2013, Ryan landed the role of Tom Keane in the main cast of The Blacklist.
