In 1965, his family moved to East Ginstead in West Sussex, where the writer's parents studied Dianetics at a Scientology Center. One of his sisters works at the Scientology Center in Los Angeles. Gaiman says he is not a Scientologist, but like Judaism, Scientology is his family's religion.
