Born January 18, 1978, Halle, Saxony-Anhalt, East Germany - German theater and film actor.
Urs Rehn is the son of a German artist. He was the second of three children in the family. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Ursa and his family moved to Cottbus. After graduating from high school in this city, Urs entered the Leipzig School of Music and Theater in 1987, from which he graduated in 2004. There he studied cello, French horn and singing. He began to take part in theatrical performances. Ursa's idols are poets and theatrical figures Samuel Beckett and Bertolt Brecht.
Since 1997, Urs began a career in cinema. From 2008-2013 he worked at the municipal theater in Chemnitz. Here Urs played in the plays A Streetcar Named Desire, The Threepenny Opera. Urs Rehn attended the 2015 Cannes Film Festival as an actor in the film Son of Saul (directed by Laszlo Nemesh). The actor is married.
