Born August 19, 1959, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - American television director, television producer and actress.
Fryman landed her first job on The John Davidson Show as Assistant Casting Manager, then Assistant and Secretary to Producer in Santa Barbara, then Assistant Director, and finally Director. In 1993, producer Peter Noah, with whom she worked on the game show Dream House, gave Fryman the opportunity to direct an episode of the short-lived sitcom Cafe Americain. This will be the first step towards a long and successful career.
Before her directing career blossomed, Freiman was involved in stage direction.
Although Freiman's original career plan did not include directing (she believed she would "follow in her father's footsteps in merchandising"), she grew up realizing that directing was her strength and passion.
Freiman's has received accolades from the American Academy of Television (ATAS), the National Academy of Television Arts and Crafts, Directors Guild of America, Goldderby, the Online Film & Television Association (OFTA) and Women in Film.
