Born March 6, 1969 - American actress.
She studied the profession of a ballet dancer, but later decided to retrain as an actress. After graduating from De Paul University, she soon embarked on a career in television and appeared in dozens of television shows and films in the following years.
Pietz is best known for her role in the comedy series Carolina in New York, where she starred from 1995 to 2000. In 1999, she was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance on the show. She also played the sister of Jennifer Aspen in the sitcom Rodney in 2004-2006, and in 2011 played the role of the main character's mother in The Nine Lives of Chloe King, which closed after one season.
