Born September 7, 1949, Newark, New Jersey, USA - American disco singer.
In the 1960s she began performing with the group Soul Satisfiers, and in 1965 her first solo single "She'll Be Sorry / Let Me Go Baby" was released. This album proved to be very popular and, taking advantage of its success, Gloria soon released her second album Experience Gloria Gaynor.
