Born August 20, 1977 - This is an American rapper.
In 1995, Cease showed his capabilities on Junior MAFIA's debut album, Conspiracy. It was this album that helped Cease to become a real star. In 1996, Cease recorded four tracks for a comedy titled "How To Be A Player" and, together with the famous rapper Lil 'Kim, recorded a super-hit called Crush On You. This track peaked at # 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and # 1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs.

In January 1999, Cease released his first album, The Wonderful World of Cease-A-Leo. This album received positive reviews from critics and was commercially successful. Four singles were released from the album. The most successful of them all was Play Around. This single reached # 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and # 1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs.
In 2001, Cease entered into severe depression, because of this, he showed signs of alcoholism and even drug addiction. However, in 2008 Cease returned to the studio to record a new album. This album Everything Is Hard Vol.1 was released in March 2010 and immediately debuted at # 1 on the Billboard 200.
Two years later, Cease released another album called Everything Is Hard Vol.2. The album followed the success of its predecessor, and was also awarded a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
