At 16, Linzie Cocker entered the Lane Johnson Theater School in Manchester. Linzy made her screen debut when she appeared at the age of 18 in the 2006 six-episode film "Conviction" as Miriam, the daughter of one of the main characters. During the early years of her career, she starred mainly in series, including the British Television Award-winning comedy mini-series Beautiful to Death for her role as Jade, the protagonist's adoptive sister. Later, Cocker, represented by the Hamilton Hodell agency, began to be invited to such full-length films as "Breakaway" and "Is Anyone Here?" (2008). In 2009, the horror film "Container" was released with Cocker's participation. In 2010, her partner, actor and director Oliver Lee, with whom they co-star in the TV series Waterloo Street, co-starred Linzy in the 2011 film McQueen).
