Born July 26, 1961, London, England - British film producer and actor, founder of the Heyday Films film company.
I went to school when I was in the United States and received a degree in art history from Harvard University in 1983. His father, John Hayman, produced films such as The Mediator and Jesus, and his mother, Norma Hayman, produced Dangerous Liaisons and Mrs. Henderson Presents.
Hayman began his career in the film industry as an assistant to producer David Lean on Journey to India, and in 1986 Hayman became Artistic Director of Warner Bros. In the late eighties, he became vice president of the United Artists film studio and eventually went into independent production of films, making his debut with the film "Authority" in 1992. In 1994 he released the film "Stoned Youth".
In 1997 Hayman returns to London and decides to concentrate on the adaptation of books. He founded his own film company Hayday Films and has since produced many noteworthy films such as the Harry Potter series. On the official DVD of the third Harry Potter film, he played the role of one of the wizards immortalized in "living" portraits.
In 2005, Hayman served as executive producer on the CBS television series Limit. He had a hand in the creation of the 2007 blockbuster I Am Legend, starring Will Smith, the drama Boy in the Striped Pajamas (2008) and the film with Jim Carrey, known in the Russian box office as Always Say Yes. He also released the film Is Anyone Here ?, a drama starring Michael Caine. He continues to work with Harry Potter colleagues Alfonso Cuaron and David Yates on a number of joint projects.
