Born June 2, 1943 - American actor and director, known for his work in cinema and television. He is best known for his role as employee Andy Renko in the TV series Blues Hill Street.
Heid was born in San Francisco to Grace Marian (nee Folger) and Charles Maurice Heid Jr. While at Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University), he met Steven Bochko. Producer of the musical Godspell in 1971.
Hayde is the cousin of talk show host Merv Griffin.
