Born September 29, 1956 in Moscow.
He graduated from the acting department of the Shchukin Theater School. Upon graduation, he worked at the Riga Lenin Komsomol Theater (TYuZ). Since 1981 he worked as an actor at the Moscow Hermitage Theater. Already at this time, his gravitation towards the musical genre was manifested: he successfully played in musical performances, from his favorite works - "Triptych for Two" by N. Zlotnikov, where he sang songs by B. Okudzhava. Since 1994 he has been working at the Theater of Music and Poetry.
The author of the music of most of the songs he performs. The repertoire includes songs based on verses by Russian and foreign poets, French chanson, folk stylizations, songs for children.
