Born June 7, 1938 in the city of Sverdlovsk. After school he worked as a mechanic. Graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Ural Polytechnic Institute. S.M. Kirov in 1963, postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Engineering and Economics and a music school in the guitar class (1963). In the 50s, he became a laureate of the first post-war pop art competition as a guitarist (2nd place). Since 1975 he has been living in Leningrad.
