Born October 24, 1976, Mot Village, Hisar District, Haryana State, India - Indian actress.
She received her degree in philosophy from the University of Delhi. She adopted the screen name Malika, which means "Lady", to avoid confusion with other actresses named Rima. "Sherawat" is her mother's maiden name.
Before joining the cinema, she starred in television commercials. Her most famous film is the romantic comedy Pyaar Ke Side Effects, which received particularly positive reviews from critics. In 2005, Sherawat starred in the Chinese film Myth with Jackie Chan, playing the Indian girl who saved the protagonist from the river. This was her first international film.
