Born May 3, 1974, Marshalltown, Iowa - American film director, screenwriter, producer, creator of commercials and films, and computer graphics specialist.
Graduate of Columbia University School of Architecture.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2005, he began writing a novel called Oblivion, which Walt Disney Pictures planned to film in 2012, but then transferred the rights to Universal Pictures, which released the film in 2013 year with Tom Cruise in the title role.
In 2007, Warner Brothers hired him to film a remake of the 1970s sci-fi movie Logan's Run. In 2010, he directed Tron: The Legacy, the sequel to Tron. In November 2009, it was revealed that Kosinski would be filming a remake of the 1979 film The Black Hole. Plans to direct the sci-fi film Archangels.
