Born 1942, Athens, Greece is a Greek-American screenwriter and producer.

Graduated from high school in Greece. Shortly thereafter, he moved to the United States, where he went to the University of Delaware to receive a BA in film theory, then he went to American University for a master's degree in screenwriting. After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, his first job in the industry was the TV movie Trial by Fire, as a trainee.

In 2014, Spiliotopoulos rewrote the screenplay for the adventure fantasy film Hercules, originally written by Ryan J. Kondal. Brett Ratner directed the film, which was released by Paramount Pictures on July 25, 2014.

Spiliotopoulos wrote the adventure fantasy film The Hunter with Craig Mazin, which was rewritten by Frank Darabont.

In April 2009, Spiliotopoulos was supposed to write the action movie Wanted 2, the sequel to Wanted, 2008.

In June 2013, Universal acquired the rights to a remake of the 2007 Japanese anime film Agent Vexill and assigned Spiliotopoulos to write the script.

In July 2014, 20th Century Fox hired Spiliotopoulos to write the screenplay for the 2014 novel Seven Wonders by Ben Mezrich. Spiliotopoulos rewrote the screenplay for the horror movie, Ouiji: The Devil's Board, but his version was not used in the film.
