Copeland is an American rock / alternative band formed in 2000 by singer Aaron Marsh (who plays guitar, mellotron, piano and organ) and his friend, bassist and backing vocalist James Likeness in Lakeland, WI. Florida. Guitarist Bryan Laurenson and drummer Jonathan Bucklew gave the band a distinct style. In 2002, they signed with The Militia Group and released their debut album Beneath Medicine Tree the following year.
