GANGWAY (Trap) Danish INDIE POP, SYNTHPOP, NEW WAVE group. The trap consists of Allan Jensen vocalist, Henrik Balling guitar, Torben Johansen keyboards and four different drummers, Jan Christensen (1982-84), Gorm Ravn-Jonsen (1984-89), Tsai Bojsen-Meller (1991-94), and Jeppe Moesgaard (1996-98). Their first three albums are reminiscent of the Beatle style, the guitar sound is characteristic of the New Wave. Influenced by synth-pop music, they resembled the Pet Shop Boys. They are known for their strange and subtle lyrics that often border on the edge of surrealism. It is almost impossible to find their records in the USA.
