Born October 8, 1922 - English actress.
She was born in London. She began her career as an actress at the Oxford Theater. In 1958, after 13 years in the theater, the actress married playwright Gerald McLairnon, gave birth to a son, Fergus, and began teaching drama. In the early 2000s, she returned to film and television, where she was most remembered for the role of Mrs. Connelly, the old neighbor of the young couple, played by Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore, in the comedy Danny DeVito "Duplex" in 2003.
