Born October 27, 1961, Dublin, Ireland - Italian film actress and writer.
Daughter of the writer Carlo Mazzantini and the Irish artist Anne Donnelly.
In 1982 she graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Rome. She made her theater debut in the production of Goethe's tragedy "Iphigenia in Taurida". In 2001, she wrote the novel “Do not go away” (Non ti muovere), which became a bestseller in many countries and received one of the most prestigious literary Strega Prizes in Italy.
