Born 1941, South Bend, Indiana is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and writer.
Educated at St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, Harvard University, University of Connecticut and Yale University School of Medicine. While at Harvard, he founded a satirical revue called The Proposition, which ran for ten years in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Levin's first novel "Creator" was published in 1980 and filmed with the same title in 1985.
