Christopher Lee Carlos Rios was born in 1971 on November 9th. He was famous under the pseudonym Big Pun. This is a Puerto Rican rapper who made himself known to the world in the 90s. His debut composition was featured on the album The Beatnuts and was called Off the Books, after which he appeared in the second album Fat Joe with the composition Watch Out. After that, the singer managed to sign a contract with the studio Loud Records for a solo performance of Chicano rap.
Big Pun grew up on the streets of the South Bronx. The boy's childhood was not the best way. His mother was a drug addict, his father abandoned his family, and his stepfather constantly beat the boy. Rios was a very cruel child and often smashed his own fists against the walls of the house in anger. The artist's debut album immediately gained incredible popularity and received platinum status, and also took fifth place in the Billboard Top. It was the Capital Punishment album. An incredible crowd of fans and connoisseurs of high-quality rap came to watch Big Pun's performances. He was nominated for a Grammy, became a member of the group Terror Squad and, perhaps, would still be bathed in the glory, but in 2000 his life was tragically cut short. The cause of death was a heart attack.
