Formed in spring 2009. All five members of the group have completely different geographical and musical roots. For example, vocalist and songwriter Peter Liddle is originally from Norway and draws his inspiration from his previous years at university (where he studied medicine and anthropology). The band's drummer, Jon Warren, has managed to be both a homeless person and a musician in several punk bands in his lifetime, and Will Harvey is a cellist with a classical education. In general, can you imagine how heterogeneous the composition of the musicians is. The band originally settled in a two-bedroom house in Stratford (an area in east London), which gave them the opportunity to play music and record material, not limited by time. In June 2009 they released their first single, "The Chambers & Valves", which was available only as a download.
