The group was formed in 2007 in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. “We liked the title 'Hey Monday' because it was so controversial,” says Cassady Pope. Cassady is the frontman of the group, she is able to fall in love with herself, she is full of enthusiasm. Cassady began to pursue her dream as soon as she graduated from high school. Taking part in a local music competition where loud teenagers had to sing for those who wanted to listen to them, she attracted the attention of a guy from a record company. Less than two years later, she recorded her first LP, Hold on Tight, which was released by such giants as Columbia Records and Decaydance Records (a record label owned by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy). The debut album was produced by S * A * M and Sluggo (The Academy Is, Gym Class Heroes, Metro Station). "Hold on Tight" is imbued with the spirit of ups and downs, challenges that have fallen to the lot of young adults. “We have a versatile style, but overall cute, fast and optimistic, because we need speed and optimism from the recording, which makes us feel good. There are songs about broken hearts, there are songs about love, songs about those who burn their lives ... If not all songs are about me, then they are about people close to me. I just want to tell a story, show everything like in a movie, so that you can really know about someone.
