On September 23, 1949, famous American rock musicians were born in New Jersey with lyrics about their native land. The future star was named Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen. Since childhood, the guy was fond of music, played the guitar in yard rock bands. After leaving school, Bruce left to try his luck in New York, but without success, he returned home. For some time I tried myself in different groups, but decided to take up solo activities. Having accumulated material in the style of folk-rock, the musician released in January 1973 his debut work Greeting from Asbury Park, NJ. At first it remained unnoticed, like the next two albums, but with the release of subsequent compilations they were sold out in millions of copies, and his title single Blinded by the Light in 1977 hit the first line of the Billboard Hot 100, but performed by a different artist.
Things were not the best at the beginning of Springsteen's career, something needed to be changed, and in 1974 he teamed up with members of The E Street Band, who were supposed to accompany the singer on the tour. Thanks to Danny Federici (keyboardist), Vinny Lopez (drummer), David Sanchez (keyboardist, guitarist), Clarence Clemons (saxophonist) and Harry Tallent (bassist), the joint disc Born to Run Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band was released in 1974. The collection turned out simply enchanting, from that moment the long-awaited starry time for the band members came. On August 13, 1975, a series of concerts began, which would later be called the event that changed the history of rock and roll. At the end of the year, the most influential newspapers Newsweek and Time printed Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band front-page photos. before that, no musician had appeared there.
1980 was marked by the release of the new disc The River, the composition of which Hungry Heart became the musician's calling card. In 1984, the hot album Born in the USA was released, which became platinum 10 times. The songs were at the top of the American charts for several weeks, and everything continued on a two-year world tour.
In 1987 the album Tunnel of Love was released, inspired by troubles in his personal life. The musicians went on tour, but it turned out to be somewhat boring. Then it was possible for the last time to watch Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band together on stage. After this tour, the musicians parted ways in 1989.
In 1993, the film Philadelphia was released, for which Bruce wrote the soundtrack for Streets of Philadelphia and won an Oscar.
