Bruce Hornsby Randall (born November 23, 1954) is an American singer, pianist, accordionist, and composer. Hornsby is drawn to classics, jazz, bluegrass, folk, Motown, rock, blues. Hornsby received a number of awards, including Best New Grammy Artist in 1987, Best Bluegrass Grammy in 1989 and Best Instrumental Pop Grammy in 1993. He also collaborated with the Grateful Dead (was a member of the group from September 1990 to April 1992).
