Without a doubt, Patricia Neal can be called one of the most famous actresses of the twentieth century - she was loved and hated, she was worshiped and envied, but few people knew what dramas pursued the girl not only on the set, but also in real life.

She is 23, young, carefree and stunningly beautiful - this is exactly what the director King Vidor, who is looking for a leading actress for his dramatic project Source, found out about her. And Patricia Neal turned out to be the perfect candidate. Having quickly flown into the world of big cinema, the actress does not yet suspect what tests fate has in store for her. On the set of The Fountainhead, she meets the well-known Hollywood actor Gary Cooper (Afternoon Love, Sergeant York) and falls madly in love with him - even despite the almost twenty-year age difference.

At first, the couple tried to hide their relationship, because Cooper was married, but they did it with difficulty. When the truth was revealed, Gary's wife and daughter made real scandals for Patricia, and when the public learned that, in addition to everything, the girl was also pregnant, her name flashed on every page of almost all yellow magazines. Unable to withstand the onslaught, Neil abortions and breaks off relations with Cooper.

Despite personal setbacks, the girl's acting career continues to develop rapidly. Patricia has been filming a lot, moreover, in rather expensive productions. Over time, a streak of luck begins in her life: for example, in 1953 she married the writer Ronald Dahl, and in 1961 a new film with Patricia Neal appeared on the screens - Blake Edwards' Oscar-winning comedy drama Breakfast at Tiffany's. For the performance of the role of Emily Failenson in this wonderful film, the actress was not awarded any honorary awards, but her popularity grew at lightning speed, and therefore, a few years later, Martin Ritt invites her to collaborate in the drama Hud with Paul Newman and Melvin Douglas in the lead roles.

The story of a Texas rancher named Hud Bannon was so positively received by the public that various awards fell on her one after another - she received her well-deserved Oscar and Patricia. In 1969, for her participation in the drama All because of the roses, she was again nominated for this award, but the girl won’t be able to win.

Cinema with Patricia Neal continues to delight viewers from time to time, but more and more the woman devotes herself to motherhood. She gave birth to five children, becoming a real mother-heroine, but after the death of two children, she closed herself into herself and began to lead an alienated lifestyle. Unfortunately for her family and friends, Neal found consolation in a religious sect, because of which she completely cut off ties with the outside world.

The last Neil film was released in 2009, it was a musical family drama Years fly by. A year later she was gone. 84 years allotted by heaven to a talented actress have expired.

Patricia Neil has gray eyes, naturally blond hair, fair skin and full lips. The shape of the face is triangular, the forehead is medium, the hair is straight, thick. Patricia Neil changed her hair color, giving preference to red. The actress has a small, straight nose and a rounded chin. The growth of the actress is 174 cm, no tattoos.
