Born on July 30 (August 12) 1910 in Odessa (now Ukraine) .
Graduated from the Odessa Conservatory in 1938 (class of V. A. Selyavin) .
Since 1936 - soloist of the Odessa Philharmonic. Then he worked in several musical theaters of the country: in 1938-1941 - Lugansk, Dnepropetrovsk, in 1941-1944 - Krasnoyarsk, in 1944-1949 - at the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theaters.
Since 1949 he has been a soloist with the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
Acted as a concert singer. The singer's repertoire also included chamber vocal compositions and arias from operas.
A.F. Kryvchenya died on March 10, 1974. He was buried in Moscow at the Vvedenskoye cemetery.
