In 1956 he graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. V.I. Lenin. In 1952-1962 he worked as a teacher in secondary schools, since 1966 - editor of the satirical film magazine "Fitil". In animation, he wrote scripts, incl. for V.Ya. Bordzilovsky.
Together with YM Richter he wrote under the pseudonym F. Dvoinikov.
