Felix Kamov - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, screenwriter.
Born October 21, 1932 in Moscow - Jewish writer.
Childhood was spent in the Arbat lanes. In 1956 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute, until 1962 he worked as a design engineer for rocket engines in the aviation industry. In 1963 he completely switched to literary activity (under the pseudonym F. Kamov). He gained fame for scripts of cartoons, especially "Well, wait!" (with A. Kurlyandsky and A. Hayt), worked as editor of the film magazine "Fitil" (1965-1967) .
Since 1973 he participated in the movement of Soviet Jews for repatriation to Israel, in 1976 he was arrested for 15 days for participating in a demonstration (40 people walked down the street with yellow six-pointed stars). Published in samizdat, edited the Jewish magazine "Tarbut" (1975-1977). In the fall of 1977 he received permission to leave. In 1978-1997 he worked in the Russian edition of the Israeli radio station "Kol Israel".
