At the age of two, Benson began dancing, at the age of five, she began to take vocal lessons and participate in photography. At the age of eight, she began working with the Ford Models modeling agency, starring in commercials. Then she began to play in the theater and decided to become an actress.
In the early 2000s, Benson played cameo roles in films and television series. Fame came to her after her role in the soap opera Days of Our Lives, in which she starred from 2004 to 2007. In 2009, Benson landed the role of Mia Torkoletti in the television series Eastwick and starred in all 13 episodes. Since 2010, he has been playing one of the main roles in the youth drama series Pretty Little Liars, aired on ABC Family.
