Born June 9, 1983, San Diego, California is an American film director, actor, screenwriter and producer.
Trained at the production company for director Ridley Scott. Later he met the aspiring director Aaron Moorehead. Soon after they met, Benson and Moorehead began working together. Initially, they were engaged in small projects - commercials and short films.
In 2012, Justin and Aaron filmed their first full-length horror film, Breaking. The world premiere of the film took place on April 22, 2012 at the Tribeca Film Festival. In addition, the film has been shown at many film festivals such as the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival, the Fantasia International Film Festival, the Lund Fantastic Film Festival and the Screamfest Horror Film Festival.
Justin Benson's next work was the horror film Z / L / L: The New Virus, which was again co-authored with Aaron Moorehead. Unlike its debut film, Z / L / L: The New Virus did not receive the desired success.
