Israeli actress and rock singer Ninette Tayeb was born on October 21, 1983 in Kiryat Gat. Her ancestors are Jews of Moroccan and Tunisian origins. Ninette became the third child of five born to her parents. Relatives and friends call the girl Nina.
Tayeb grew up in her hometown, where she began singing at a local youth center. Later, the girl served in the Israeli army.
