Nick McCarthy - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born on December 13, 1974 in England, but raised in the Bavarian city of Wagen (German). He graduated from school in Bad Aibling and began to study playing the double bass at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich with Paulo Cardosso.
Before joining the Franz Ferdinand band, McCarthy played in the bands Razzmatazz, Embryo, Kamerakino.
In 2001 he moved to Glasgow, where he met Alex Kapranos.
