Born on January 22, 1930 in Tbilisi.
In 1955 he graduated from the law faculty of Moscow State University.
He worked as an assistant director at the Gorky cinema, since 1957 - director of the Mosfilm cinema.
The son of pop artist and reader Suren Kocharyan.
He passed away on September 14, 1970 in Moscow. He was buried on September 16 at the 9th site of the Vvedensky cemetery in Moscow.
