was born on 24 August 1975 in London, England, Great Britain and grew up surrounded by loving women - mother Caroline and sister Charlotte. The father died when the boy was very young.
After graduating from high school in the Catholic Church, James went to Australia, where he spent a year working in the Department of Dramatic Arts in one of the educational institutions in Perth. Returning to London, James D'Arcy approached his future career with the responsibility characteristic of the British - he attended courses at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts for three years, and in 1995 he received a bachelor's degree. He also took an active part in theatrical productions.
