Born on July 1, 1974 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) .
In 2003 he graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley (USA) with a degree in Film Studies with a bias in screenwriting. For two years he was engaged in acting and took part in university productions. During his studies, he wrote the original full-length script "Waiting for the seventh day", which entered the top ten in the "Screenplay as Literature" competition in 2002. He worked on the translation and additional voiceover for Timur Bekmambetov's film "Peshawar Waltz", 1994 (in the American video distribution the film was released under the title "Escape from Afghanistan") for the film company of the cult producer and director Roger Korman.
After graduation, he spent a year in Los Angeles working on a new script, continuing his acting classes, playing roles in performances and moonlighting in Hollywood extras. After the expiration of his student visa, he moved to Moscow and began working at Timur Bekmambetov's film company Bazelevs as a full-time screenwriter and script consultant. Soon he started working on the script for the film "Day Watch". Later, he served as the chief editor and development supervisor of Bazelevs .
In 2007, commissioned by the CNF studio, he wrote the script for the animated feature film "Star Dogs: Belka and Strelka" .
In 2008 - 2009 worked on the script for the film "Black Lightning" ("Bazelevs Production", "Universal Pictures"). Since 2008, he has been represented by the screenwriting agency Cinemoushen, and since 2010 he began to conduct master classes in screenwriting at the agency's school. During his work at Bazelevs (2004 - 2009) he helped in the development of several dozen projects for the company. Since 2010 - freelancer.
In 2010-11. commissioned by the channel "Russia-1" as the main author, he developed a series (16 episodes) under the working title "Glaciers. Detective outside the law "based on the novels of A. Zvyagintsev. Genre: detective, psychological drama. The project tells the story of a former prosecutor, a brilliant investigator with a dark past, now a cynical and reckless consultant for a popular newspaper. For fifteen years he has been diligently avoiding criminal investigations, but one day his past is knocking on the door ... The filming period of the project ended in spring 2012. Director - Oleg Fomin.
In 2011, he wrote the script for an adventure film based on the novel "Uru-Guru" (by Alexey Sanaev) commissioned by Rossfilm. In the press, the project is positioned as "the Russian version of Indiana Jones" .
In the spring of 2012, he finished work on the script for the fantastic film "Special Storage" based on the novel of the same name by Oleg Sinitsyn.
Collaborated with the companies "Disney CIS", "Sony", "Lean-M" and others.
In 2012, he began work on his second television project as the main author: a mystical-fiction series commissioned by an independent production company. In the same year, he took up the duties of curator of the screenwriting department of the Moscow School of Cinema. He recently completed work on his first book, an ironic serious action fantasy novel. The book will be published in the fall of 2012.
