Born 1962 in Bari, Italy.
Even in her youth, Doriana began to get involved in theater. After graduating from university, she spent a year at the London Film School. Then she moved to Rome, where she now lives.
Early in her career, she worked as an assistant director.
She made her film debut with a short film script, and wrote the first script for a full-length film in 1991 - "L'inchiesta" .
She wrote scripts for such films as "Manifestation" (1994), "Acrobats" (1997), "Words of Love" (1998), "Bread and Tulips" (2000), "Born in the Wind" (2002), "Love Me" (2005 ), "Days and Clouds" (2007), "Who I Want More" (2010), "Passion" (2010) and others.
