Born June 17, 1932.
In 1955 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of Alexander Kireev).
He played in many theaters (TsTSA, the theater of the Group of Soviet Forces in the GDR, the New Drama Theater, the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, the Anna Makagon Theater "By the Fireplace", the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, the Satire Theater).
First film role - "Mr. Ivan" (DEFA).
Since 1993 - at the Vl. Mayakovsky.
As a reader he spoke from the Moscow State Philharmonic.
Since the 80s he has been writing poetry (mainly political satire) and published.
People's Artist of Russia (2003).
