Irish director, screenwriter and actor.
Born 1962 in Dublin, Ireland.
He began his film career as an actor, making his screen debut in an episode of the TV series "Ruth Rendell Mysteries" (1989). The first role in a big movie in the film "Beautiful Love" (1992) .
In 1999, Fitzgibbon decided to try his hand at directing with the short film Between Dreams. This was followed by a number of television films and series on which Ian worked.
In 2008, Fitzgibbon's first full-length work was released - the film "A Film Starring Me" .
Other works by the director include films such as Perrier's Bounty (2009) and Death of a Superhero (2011).
