Born March 27, 1976, Madrid is a Spanish film actor.

During his school years, Carlos showed creativity - Carlos draws and sells cartoon portraits of his teachers at recess.

Since 1995 Areses has been studying at the Institute of Fine Arts in Cuenca.

Started his career as a screenwriter and actor in comedy shows. Since 2007 he has been acting in films and on TV. He reached stellar status in 2010, when Alex de la Iglesia's drama A Sad Ballad for a Trumpet was released, which won two prizes in Venice.
