Born December 5, 1967, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain - Spanish film director, screenwriter and producer.

Studied photography and cinematography in Madrid. In 1987 he founded a production company supporting short films and commercials. Already his first short "black" film Just Married (1996) became an Oscar nominee and won numerous other awards. The following works confirmed and consolidated the success.
