A professional actress for over 40 years, she began performing at the Det Norske Theater in 1977 and has been playing there ever since. Through her acting interpretation, countless different theatrical roles have passed. She also participated in television projects. In 1991, Jorunn received the Norwegian Critics' Prize for theatrical activity "Teaterkritikerprisen", and in 2006 she was awarded the honorary Amanda Prize.
