Born January 14, 1978, London - English actor and director.
Ritson attended Dolphin School in Reading and Berkshire until 1993, and then transferred to St Paul's School in West London. Ritson attended Jesus College, Cambridge, where he studied English and Medieval Italian. Ritson graduated from college in 2000. While studying, he also played in films and theater.
He is engaged to film actress Hattie Morahan, whom he met in Cambridge. They have a daughter, Amity, born in August 2016.
Morahan worked as a costume designer and screenwriter for one of the films directed by Ritson. Ritson has a brother, Dylan, with whom he co-directs and writes scripts.
